Changpang Zhao: After resigning from his post, Trump will enter cryptocurrencies

The CEO of Cryptocurrency Exchange Binance Changpang Zhao believes that after the end of his presidential term, Donald Trump will become an investor and invest in Bitcoin.

“I am quite convinced that after resigning from his post, Trump will enter cryptocurrency. Now his position does not allow him to promote cryptocurrencies instead of the US dollar, ”Zhao said at the Binance London meeting on 1 August.

In July, Trump released a few unfriendly comments on cryptocurrency, noting that he is not a fan of Bitcoin due to extreme volatility and the lack of any material support for this asset. Zhao said at the same time that these comments would rather have a positive impact on the development of the cryptocurrency industry, as they would help to attract additional attention to it.

“Trump hasn't done anything good or bad yet. He simply said that he is not a fan of cryptocurrency. The very fact that he writes about this, the US President speaks about cryptocurrency is good, ”said Zhao.

“President Trump is a very smart businessman. I think that he will get to the bottom of the essence, ”Zhao added during the recent meeting.
