Myetherwallet wallet added support for ETH 2.0 staking
The popular Ethereum wallet MyEtherWallet has opened access to ETH 2.0 staking via the Staked service.
To participate in ETH 2.0, MyEtherWallet users must block 32 ETH for staking.
“Staked will launch a validator node for them, which will simplify the participation of users who do not have technical knowledge, so no additional actions on their part will be required,” said Kosala Hemachandra, CEO of MyEtherWallet.
Users will receive validator rewards in ETH, but will not be able to withdraw coins until the deployment of the second phase of ETH 2.0, which may take several years.
Let me remind you that earlier this week, the Deposit contract of the second version of the Ethereum Protocol attracted 1.16 million ETH (~$689.99 million), which is equivalent to 1.02% of the market offer of the second-largest cryptocurrency.
